MyCaddiPro ("we", "us") is a golf platform for golfers, golf societies, caddies and golf courses in Thailand. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the MyCaddiPro app and website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and similar laws elsewhere.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

To provide the service: accounts, scoring, handicaps, events, tee sheets, caddy bookings and messaging.
To show your name, scores and handicap to the people you play with, to your society's organizers, and on leaderboards you take part in.
To send notifications you have turned on (LINE messages and in-app alerts) about events, bookings, messages, announcements and course offers.
To let course staff and caddie masters manage bookings and caddies.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.

3. Who we share it with

People in the game: your playing partners, your society organizers, the course's pro shop and caddie master, and caddies assigned to you see the details they need (name, handicap, tee time, scores).
Public boards: live leaderboards and society results may be visible to other users, and to anyone with the link when a society publishes them. You can opt out of live spectating.
Service providers that process data for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), LINE (sign-in and notifications), Google and Kakao (sign-in), Open-Meteo (weather, using the course location, not yours), BigDataCloud (turns your GPS position into a city name for sign-in geography, only if you have already allowed location; the position itself is not stored), Firebase (push notifications on devices that use them), and AI services: Google's Gemini reviews every photo that other members will see — profile photos, Tap-In photos and several frames of each Tap-In video, 19th Hole listing photos, course and maintenance photos — to refuse unsafe content before it is posted, and may help review captions, comments and reported content; AI from Anthropic and Google is also used for optional features such as reading a scorecard photo or the AI caddie. We do not sell your data.
Golf courses (anonymous counts): a course on MyCaddiPro sees counts about golfers in its area, for example how many played nearby courses, on which days and in which handicap bands. It never sees who: no names, no contact details, and any group smaller than 5 golfers is shown only as "under 5". When a course sends an offer to such a group, MyCaddiPro delivers it to your in-app inbox; the course never receives a list.
Legal: when required by law or to protect the safety of users, for example an SOS alert sent to the course.

4. Where your data is kept

Data is stored with our providers, which may host it outside Thailand. We rely on their security controls and contractual protections.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Scores and results that are part of a society's competition history stay in that history unless the society removes them. When you delete your account (Section 7) your personal data is erased from our systems; some records may remain in backups for a limited time, and anonymised statistics may be kept.

6. Your choices

Notifications: switch each type of LINE notification on or off, and set quiet hours, in the app under Menu → Notifications.
Location: live tracking and on-course features only use GPS while they are running; you can stop them at any time and deny location in your device settings.
Live spectating: you can opt out when you start a round.
Course offers: LINE pushes about course offers are sent only if you follow a course and turn offers on. After a round we may ask you once whether to follow that course; you can unfollow at any time in Messages → Offers.

7. Your rights and how to delete your account

Under the PDPA you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. You can do most of this yourself:

Correct: edit your profile in the app.
Delete: open your Profile in the app and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and personal data across the service. It cannot be undone.
Anything else: send us a message through the app (Messages → Reports) and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

MyCaddiPro is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you believe a minor has created an account, tell us through the app and we will remove it.

9. Security

Access to data is controlled by your sign-in and by database rules that limit what each role can read and change. Changes to a golf course's bookings, caddie roster, rates and settings are recorded in a change log the course's pro shop can review and export. No system is perfectly secure; keep your sign-in provider account safe.

10. Changes

We will post any change to this policy here with a new date. Material changes will be announced in the app.
